Marisa Duran is a professional voice actress based in Dallas, Texas. She grew up onstage, performing in plays and musicals from the start of second grade all the way through her senior year of high school. Her passion for the performing arts led her to study theatre in college, where she began to delve further into the worlds of film and voiceover. She graduated from Texas Christian University in 2016 with a BFA in Acting and has been working consistently as an actor ever since.
Marisa has provided additional voices for over a dozen FUNimation titles since 2015, including Fruits Basket, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, and Higurashi: When They Cry - GOU, but she’s most well known for voicing lovable spitfire Kyoko Hori in Horimiya. More exciting roles are on the horizon, so stay tuned!
When she’s not rehearsing or recording, Marisa can be found playing Overwatch, crafting caffeinated beverages as a barista at a local coffeeshop, and making horrible puns.
